færal parfum was developed as antidote to modern reality, during the throes of a devastating neurological illness. I soon felt like I was viewing the world from another realm, half dead and yet somehow still alive. And for some people, this is precisely the moment things get interesting. The mind is set free of social trappings and the imagination is allowed to roam in the creation of this new hidden world. My perfumes became characters in it, each a universe of their own, and my imaginary friends during the loneliest time of my life. They are created to soothe, delight, and challenge our perceptions of reality, with the ultimate effect of transforming the human spirit into something magical. 

Britton daley is a beach freak and creative living in Bushwick, NY. her working class background and insatiable curiosity fuel a desire to find the surreal in the quotidian. as a disabled perfumer, limitations create transcendant frameworks for her imagination. depending on the day, the inner workings of her mind look like a techno-dystopian anime or Brian froud illustration. she seeks to bring this magical realism to life through volatile gases chasing emotions and vignettes of the (in)human experience.

She has been studying the art of perfumery since 2019. perfuming fuels her survival in an economy that simultaneously exploits the body and rations healthcare.

though she has called NYc home for more than a decade, her roots are in northern michigan. her favorite beaches include: Jacob riis, esch beach, and a secret beach in superiorland.
